The flagship LifeScale AST system delivers Gram-negative bacterial identification and resistance profiling in 4.5 hours—significantly faster than standard methods—with accuracy matching traditional standards of care. The system features automated sample preparation, inoculation, incubation, and reporting, requiring minimal hands-on time (<5 minutes) and technician training. LifeScale operates with a room-temperature-stable kit containing all consumables for single assays, automatic 96-well plate inoculation, and capacity to process up to 5 samples simultaneously. FDA-cleared for blood culture identification and AST, it integrates into existing laboratory workflows alongside rapid blood culture identification systems.
