Midway Medical manufactures sequential compression devices (SCDs) for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) prevention. The company's primary product is the Plexus RP100, a portable, single-patient DVT prevention device delivering 50 mmHg of sequential compression to the calf. Designed for post-operative recovery in home and medical facility settings, the Plexus RP100 features extended battery life (16 hours per charge), lightweight construction (<1 pound), tubeless design, and patient compliance tracking via USB. Clinical applications include DVT onset prevention, venous flow enhancement, post-operative pain and edema reduction, and management of venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, diabetic leg ulcers, chronic venous insufficiency, and stasis dermatitis. Midway Medical also manufactures Plexus DVT Sleeves—FDA-approved single-chamber sleeves compatible with multiple legacy compression pump platforms (Flowtron, VenaFlow, VasoPress, Venodyne, Cirona). Sleeves are available in multiple sizes and configurations (calf-only, calf-thigh, foot) with anatomically designed closures and breathable nylon linings. Products are manufactured to medical device standards and carry FDA clearance for DVT and venous thromboembolism prevention.
