How to Choose a Stress Testing System

Stress testing systems are integrated functional-diagnostic platforms that combine a 12-lead diagnostic ECG acquisition module, exercise device (motorized treadmill or cycle ergometer), automated NIBP, and analysis/reporting software to evaluate cardiac response under controlled exertion or pharmacologic stress. A cardiac stress test system combines a stress ECG platform, monitoring software, and a treadmill or ergometer to evaluate heart function under controlled stress. It detects ischemia, arrhythmias, and exercise intolerance. Buyers are typically cardiology group practices, hospital non-invasive cardiology labs, ASCs, internal-medicine/primary-care clinics adding in-office cardiac diagnostics, and sports/cardiac-rehab facilities.
